Born and raised in Bethesda, Maryland, Danielle has been in the dental community for well over a dozen years. An alumnus of Good Counsel High School and High Point University, she returned to the Bethesda area to focus on her passion as a clinical assistant. Her evolution at Bethesda Sedation Dentistry has allowed her to establish very special relationships with our patients, as she oversees the non-clinical side of the practice. Additionally, she is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and is a Certified Dental Assistant. As a patient here, you will absolutely encounter her warmth and compassion as she shepherds you through your care at Bethesda Sedation Dentistry. Her lab mix, Kona, chickens Luna and Sol, and husband of five years, Alec, keep her quite busy when not at the office. Travel and gardening are her other two loves.
Bubbly and personable, Keyli is the newest addition to Bethesda Sedation Dentistry. Keyli has lived in numerous states but is excited to call Maryland her new home. With over seven years of experience in the dental field, ranging from assisting to office administration, she has worked her way up to office management after completing her education at Pima Medical Institute. Keyli helps ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the non-clinical side of the practice. Patients can always expect a compassionate, knowledgeable, and fun experience when working with Keyli. Outside of providing world-class service alongside our dedicated BSD team, Keyli enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, traveling with her boyfriend, and working out. She is certainly an irreplaceable part of the BSD team!
Mya is our compassionate dental hygienist who has over ten years of extensive dental hygiene experience. She always has a positive attitude and is committed to providing the highest quality dental care possible. Mya has a calming energy that makes her comfortable and enjoyable to be around. She is passionate about understanding the interconnectedness of nutrition, as well as the mind, body, oral, and total body health connection. Mya’s unique view of overall health is paramount in her approach to patient care. When she is not at the dental office working, Mya likes to spend her free time with her loving husband and two children, going on long walks with her dog, traveling, and expanding her knowledge of different cultures in any way she can.
As an integral part of our highly skilled clinical team, Yessica is a bright, warm, and highly energetic chair side assistant at BSD. She is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and is a Certified Dental Assistant. As BSD’s Implant Coordinator, her specialty is implants. When she’s not helping to create beautiful smiles and wonderful dental experiences for her patients, Yessica enjoys spending time with family, especially her husband, children, and four dogs. Outside of the office, she loves to tackle home renovation projects, and tends to her garden/landscaping. Her bubbly and effervescent personality are wonderful additions to an already outstanding team.
Aimee, one of our exceptional clinical assistants, has spent years in clinical dentistry. She has a very strong background in restorative and surgical dental procedures and is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and is a Certified Dental Assistant. Aimee’s shining and wonderful personality blends beautifully with so many of our patients who are often very fearful and apprehensive. You will see her smiling all day long, with a glow in her eyes, as she gives us all something to brighten our days. Outside of work, Aimee’s energy is spent in the garden, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, and with her son and partner who share the same name! Her tremendous attention to detail and organization—paired with her warmth and compassion—prove her to be an invaluable part of our BSD team!
Dora moved to the United States from Bolivia. She went to college in Rexburg, Idaho and majored in interior design. One summer, Dora took a job at a dental office and to her surprise, became very interested in dentistry and decided to change career paths.
She began as a chairside assistant while undertaking the training necessary to become a Certified Dental Assistant. After passing the Board exam, Dora worked at Children’s Hospital in the Pediatric Dental Unit until joining the great team at Bethesda Sedation Dentistry.
She is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and is a Certified Dental Assistant. When she’s not in the office, she loves spending time with friends and family, especially her husband, son, and grand-dog. Dora feels that seeing so many of our patients finally work through their dental fear, to get the beautiful, healthy smile they deserve, is the most rewarding part of being on the BSD team!
