I have been practicing dentistry for over twenty years and enjoy being
able to offer full reconstructive care without the need to refer members
of my practice to a variety of different dentists for each phase of their
treatment. I have been studying and practicing Implantology and cosmetic
dentistry since 1985.
My educational background commences with my degree in Biology from
Johns Hopkins University. I then completed a Masters in Molecular Genetics
at the University of Virginia. Following this, I was accepted to the
Advanced Professional Training Program at Maryland Dental School. Subsequently,
I served on the full time house staff in the Comprehensive Care unit
of Johns Hopkins Hospital.
I purchased my practice in Bethesda in 1978. It's history dates back
to 1925 when Dr. Burke practiced from his home in Washington DC.
I am a Fellow of the Misch Implant Institute. I have obtained certificates
for the completion of implant surgery and prosthetic restoration courses,
together with bone grafting courses for sinus augmentation surgery and
premaxilla bone grafting. I am a Diplomat of the International Congress
of Oral Implantology.
My extensive studies in the field of sedation dentistry and cosmetic dentistry allow me to create magnificent natural smiles using the most state of
the art materials, in the most relaxed environment. I am proud to be
an amalgam
free office. I am a member of American
Dental Society of Anesthesiology and certified for IV and oral sedation.
I have been using sedation techniques for over ten years and know you
will be pleased with the gentle approach
to care provided with sedation dentistry.
